Would the project have a Garbage Removal System?
Sonar Bangla will have a Waste Management System set up in collaboration with both KMC as well as private players in this field. The system broadly involves segregation of waste into bio degradable waste and non bio degradable waste at the source through effective training of residents and through color coded bins to be periodically cleared/serviced by the contractors.
Would the apartments have a loft for Storage purposes?
Yes.
What is the percentage of Open Space?
It is approximately 77 %.
How many lifts / elevators would each block have?
Each block would have 2 Lifts / elevators.
Is the Terrace common to all?
Yes, all residents would have equal access to the Terrace.
Would the construction be Earthquake Resistant?
Yes, as it would follow the NBC code.
What about the Drainage System there? Any plans for Rain Water Harvesting?
Yes, we have planned for an efficient drainage system built to take extreme conditions. All waste water would be pumped through existing Ganga Action Plan (GAP) pipeline to the STP run by the municipality.
Rain water Harvesting has been factored in the plans where practicable.
Who would be in charge of the maintenance…the Owner's Society or the Developer?
The Owner’s Society would be in charge of the maintenance once the project is completed & handed over to the residents. Bengal Shriram will maintain till then.
What security measures would be provided in the project?
Sonar Bangla would have 24 Hours Security Surveillance both manual as well as remote electronic surveillance.
What would be the Height of each block?
The height of each block in phase 1 would be G + 12.
